In 2015, I initiated and pitched the concept for a centralized digital signage network for the City of Orlando—now known as The Loop. As project lead, I’ve collaborated closely with multiple departments, including Information Technology, Capital Improvement, and Facilities, to plan, launch, and expand this citywide communications platform.
The Loop is a browser-based system powering a growing network of 64+ digital displays across city facilities. It allows for rapid, real-time updates and enables us to tailor internal and external messaging by location and audience. This targeted approach helps us deliver relevant information—whether it’s employee updates or event promotions in community centers.
Recently, we have been awarded additional funds to expand the network with 84 more screens, bringing the total to 148 by the end of 2025. This project has become a cornerstone of the city’s modern communications strategy—connecting departments, improving the City’s brand reputation and enhancing the resident trust and experience.
