Every year, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer hosts a State of Downtown to speak on the state of our downtown region. This year we wanted to theme it after a late-night talkshow. The DTO Show was born. After creating the social video and email invite, I was told we would need to create a late-night type backdrop for the stage. I was also not given a budget. With sheets of foam-core, access to our plotter and gaffe tape, I constructed a camera ready backdrop which included a hand-cut DTO show sign.
